Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth in the Nordics. Your primary focus will be on driving business growth through qualifying and nurturing leads, supporting our marketing team with market input and content creation.

You will also be a part of planning and attending events and conferences throughout the Nordics and Europe, providing high-level demos of our software, contract creation, and coordinating internal sales meetings and projects.

This role requires a proactive individual with experience in consultancy, sales or other customer-related roles within the insurance industry and a keen interest, or experience, in IT systems like CRMs, ERPs, or other core systems.

You will be supported, and work closely with, colleagues from pre-sales, solution experts and customer success managers located at our offices in Norway, UK, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Reporting manager is Head of Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and customer engagement

  • Identify, qualify and nurture new and old prospects through various channels ensuring Contemi is top of mind and that they meet our target customer criteria.
  • Support prospects during the discovery phase with various documentation and coordination

Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content.
  • Support marketing campaigns to attract and retain clients.

Event Planning and Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events and conferences.
  • Represent the company at industry events, ensuring a professional presence.

Software Demonstrations

  • Provide high-level demos of our software to potential and existing clients.
  • Explain the features and benefits of our solutions in consultative an easy-to-understand manner.

Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate and support internal sales meetings together with the manager.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the sales team.
  • Assist in the drafting and review of contracts.



  • Proven experience in sales or customer-related roles within the insurance industry.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with CRM, ERP, or other core systems.
  • As you will be engaging with senior management from the customer side you have a consultative and business-oriented personality.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using sales and marketing software tools.
  • Fluency in Swedish or Norwegian as well as business English (verbal and written) is required


  • A higher level of education is beneficial, but not required. We value interpersonal skills, ambition, and self-discipline just as much.
